According to Dr. Ronald D. Siegel, Mindfulness is a deep awareness of present experience with acceptance. Just as we brush our teeth everyday to prevent tooth decay, so must we spend some time every day exercising our faculties of mindfulness, attention, goodwill, intention, and concentration in order to have a healthy mind. Mindfulness is just good hygiene, only mental rather than dental!

Adult spiritual formation classes in Mindfulness and Wisdom in Sutter Creek will be facilitated by Seraphim Winslow every Saturday from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. beginning on September 14, 2019. We will learn mindfulness and wisdom from a Christian perspective, but people of all faiths (or no faith) are welcome to participate. Classes are free, but commitment to full attendance in the year-long course is strongly encouraged. For more information, contact Seraphim Winslow at, or call (209) 283-9103.
