Amador County Public Health

Amador County has been approved to move more quickly through Stage Two of California’s Roadmap to Recovery. Amador County’s dine-in restaurants may resume operation as long as these facilities implement the State’s Dine-In Restaurant Guidance to provide a safe environment for both customers and employees.

Key prevention practices outlined in this Guidance include:

• Physical distancing to the maximum extent possible (rule of thumb is maintaining 50 percent Fire Marshal capacity),

• Appropriate use of face coverings by employees,

• Frequent handwashing and regular cleaning and disinfection, and

• Training employees on COVID-19 prevention.

Remember that during Stage Two, gatherings are still not allowed, and neither are amenities like bars and tasting rooms. Our community’s food facilities will also find helpful resources on Amador County’s Roadmap to Recovery website. Such resources include posters that may be printed for placement in storefronts and employee work and break areas.

Thank you for your efforts to protect our community from COVID-19. If you have questions, please email
