The following is a partial listing of calls received by Amador County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers on the dates and times indicated. Calaveras call logs are published Tuesdays, and Amador call logs are published on Fridays. 

Tuesday, August 6

6:22 a.m. Suspicious Person, at Pine Grove Park on Highway 88, Pine Grove; A transient white male is sleeping in the park in a sleeping bag.

8:47 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, on York Lane, Jackson; Caller states that a tan car is parked at the end of the road in the trees.

9:43 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at TKC Vineyards on Valley Drive, Plymouth; The trim to the front door was pried off.

10:17 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Highway 124, Ione; Caller states that the mine is using explosives to blast things.

12:47 p.m. Welfare Check, in Willow Creek; Caller states that she has not heard from her father since yesterday and he is not answering her calls.

2:24 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Watch Makers on South highway 49, Jackson; Caller had to lock out a white female subject in her 70s for throwing items and yelling.

9:13 p.m. Theft of Property, at Upcountry Storage on Van De Hei Ranch Road, Pioneer; Caller advised that items were stolen from her storage unit, including musical instruments.

Wednesday, August 7

1:35 a.m. Be on the Lookout, at Harrah’s Northern California Casino on Coal Mine Road, Jackson Valley; A white male subject was intoxicated and said that he was getting picked up, but then drove off in a Chevy pick-up.

3:55 a.m. Suspicious Person, at AMPM on Highway 49, Martell; A white male in his 50’s has been asked to leave and keeps coming back.

9:05 a.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at El Dorado Savings Bank on Highway 49, Plymouth; A 5th wheel with an unknown amount of subjects inside has been in the parking lot for three days now and different cars keep going to the trailer and then leaving. Per caller, it seems odd to the bank employees.

11:31 a.m. Vandalism, at Gold Oaks Mobile Home Park on Kennedy Flat Road, Martell; Caller states she found a vacant 5th wheel with a broken back window by the common area. Caller advised that she found men’s items inside.

11:36 a.m. Grand Theft, at Amador County Fairgrounds on Sherwood Street, Plymouth; A large box of rented wireless radios went missing with a value of $7,500.

11:37 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Buckhorn Mobile Home Park on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller is reporting a white female with short, blonde hair, a pink shirt and tan shorts with a knife in her waist band. Resulted in a felony arrest.

1:15 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Dollar General on Ridge Road, Pine Grove; A white male subject in his 50’s is screaming and punching car windows. Now headed towards Pine Grove Market.

6:09 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Park Circle, Jackson Valley; Caller advised that her sister is pressuring the caller into letting her handle her finances.

Thursday, August 8

1:01 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Ace Hardware on Highway 49, Plymouth; Caller states that a customer reported the alarm going off, but has since stopped. The customer said he saw silhouettes of two subjects, but could not provide a description.

3:53 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Gold Oaks Mobile Home Park on Kennedy Flat Road, Martell; Caller states that a light went on in the 5th wheel that is supposed to be unoccupied.

7:54 a.m. Illegal Dumping, at Rory’s Towing & Repair on Main Street, Plymouth; A subject in a truck and camp trailer pulled onto the property and dumped their black water in the parking lot. Caller also states the business has been experiencing more gas syphoning.

8:29 a.m. Suspicious Person, on Silver Drive, Pioneer; A homeless woman walking a dog was sitting behind a tree in front of the caller’s house.

10:58 a.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, on Highway 88 at Defender Grade Road, Pioneer; A red Dodge truck with a trailer has been parked on the side of the road for over thirty days. Caller believes that it is an eye sore and that the subject should carry on his way somewhere else.

1:07 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Shenandoah Road, Plymouth; The caller’s sister-in-law was yelling at, charging, shoving and threatening to hit the caller with their fist. Per caller, her behavior is ongoing.

1:15 p.m. Burglary, at Gold Mine Storage on Gold Mine Road, Pine Grove; Caller advised that three storage units were broken into in the last 48 hours.

3:47 p.m. Burglary, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; One of the caller’s vehicle doors were unlocked and a subject stole an Amazon package out of the back seat containing a children’s book.

4:23 p.m. Welfare Check, on Highway 88 at Highway 49; A white male with a black, leather jacket, tan shorts and a red backpack was walking along the road and talking to himself.

5:52 p.m. Found Property Report, at Harrah’s Northern California Casino on Coal Mine Road, Jackson; Security found drugs on the casino floor and security has footage of a white female in her 50’s or 60’s who dropped the drugs.

7:49 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Safeway Fuel Station on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Caller states that a white male in his 40’s with a slim build, carrying a 2x4 piece of wood, is yelling at customers.

11:29 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Jon’s Pit Stop on Highway 49, Martell; Caller states that a white male in his 40’s with a slim build has been in the restroom for 15 minutes and the caller believes he is doing drugs.

Friday, August 9

11:59 a.m. Theft of Property, in Pine Grove; Caller states that ten pills of his Xanax was stolen, possibly by a family member.

2:54 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Dollar Tree on Highway 88, Martell; Caller advised that he tried using United States currency at the business and the manager would not accept the $100 bill.

4:07 p.m. Animal Call, on McKenzie Drive, Pioneer; Two stray dogs (one was a dark gray Pitbull and the other was a black female Lab and Pit mix) were on the caller’s property and bit the caller’s friend on the wrist. Per caller, the dogs won’t leave the property.

4:29 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, in Pioneer; Caller evicted a male subject from a property. Caller received a phone call from a neighbor stating that the subject is looking for the caller. Per caller, the subject can be violent and the caller is fearful for his life.

Saturday, August 10

8:26 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, on Summit Street, Jackson; Caller states that an older, gray SUV with pink sheets covering the windows was parked overnight with subjects possibly sleeping inside.

9:47 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at STP Buckhorn on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller was enroute to a friend’s residence and found a 4-year-old girl walking away from the store. The juvenile stated that she was looking for her 11-year-old brother, who was at home. Caller returned the juvenile to her home and spoke to her father.

10:38 a.m. Code 3 Ambulance, on Electra Road, Jackson; A 35-year-old female was found walking in the area, and she was dehydrated and hadn’t eaten in a few days.

12:16 p.m. Suspicious Person, in Wicklow Way, Martell; A white male in his 50’s with a baseball cap had signs and balloons out that said “Wake up America” and “Show no mercy, get no mercy.” Caller is concerned about the wording of the signs.

4:47 p.m. Code 3 Ambulance, at Terra d’ Oro Winery on Shenandoah School Road, Plymouth; An elderly male is extremely intoxicated, unable to get up and is very argumentative.

7:21 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Highway 104, Ione; The caller’s friend threw a portable speaker at his girlfriend and now she is bleeding from the head.

Sunday, August 11

7:35 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Pioneer Drive, Jackson; Caller states that his ex-girlfriend is trespassing and asking for a jump on her car and won’t leave. The subject is currently yelling at the house.

11:33 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; A white male subject in his late 20’s punched the caller in the face.

3:11 p.m. Welfare Check, in Pine Grove; Caller states their mother is having a nervous breakdown at home, crying and hyperventilating. Caller advises that the mother stated she did not feel like living anymore and has a history of anxiety.

5:10 p.m. Welfare Check, in Jackson Valley; A teenage female pushed her grandmother and tried choking her. Per caller, she might be under the influence of drugs and has made threats to the grandmother. The family would like the juvenile taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation.

5:22 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Ponderosa Way, Pine Grove; Caller found evidence of a small fire, about six to eight inches from a shed out back.
