The following is a partial listing of calls received by Amador County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers on the dates and times indicated. Calaveras call logs are published Tuesdays, and Amador call logs are published on Fridays. 

Tuesday, July 30

12:35 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Highway 49, Amador City; Caller stated that she received a phone call from a male subject advising her that another male subject who was arrested is in possession of her vehicle without her permission.

6:39 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Diamond View Drive, Pioneer; Caller wants to report that she believes that someone was in her residence and filled a plastic container with an unknown substance.

10:57 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, on Defender Grade, Pioneer; Caller thinks people are living in a trailer on private property.

1:39 p.m. Theft of Property, at Amador County Fairgrounds on Sherwood Street, Plymouth; Caller was an exhibitor at the fair and states that her turquoise jewelry was in a black bag with all of her equipment and it all went missing.

5 p.m. Supplement Report, in Jackson; Caller states that his ex-girlfriend stole the hidden key from the residence and the caller is concerned.

6:20 p.m. Be on the Lookout, on Highway 49; A tan jeep occupied by two women has the words “help me” written on the back window.

6:35 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, in Jackson; Caller advised that the business partner of the caller’s significant other pulled the caller by the shirt trying to get him out of the house. Resulted in a misdemeanor arrest.

7:06 p.m. Theft of Property, at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort on New York Ranch Road, Jackson; An unknown white male with a beard stole the caller’s motorcycle helmet off of the caller’s parked motorcycle and gave it to his blonde, female passenger.

10:54 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Caller states that two customers were sprayed with a water bottle containing an unknown substance as they walked into the store.

Wednesday, July 31

7:09 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; While the caller was loading their groceries, a vehicle came up close to the caller and squirted the caller with a squirt gun.

9:31 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Horseshoe Lane, River Pines; Dispatch could hear a woman yelling in the distant background. Resulted in a misdemeanor arrest.

12:32 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Ridge Road, Pine Grove; Caller states that her daughter is kicking down doors and yelling. Resulted in a felony arrest.

2:10 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, in Martell; Caller received a text message stating “I hope you die a terrible death” from an unknown subject. Caller advised that other strange things are going on as well.

4:49 p.m. Welfare Check, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; Caller advised that a white female with reddish hair and tattoos is inside the store and possibly on drugs with two small children. Caller states that the subject is walking slowly around the store.

Thursday, August 1

6:54 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, in Pine Grove; Caller says that her husband hurt her last night during an argument by grabbing her arm and causing pain and bruising.

8:08 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Highway 16; Caller advised that his co-worker punched his boss and then left.

10:51 a.m. Theft of Property, on Highway 49, Amador City; While the caller was unloading groceries, someone took her key and credit card from a car seat.

12:03 p.m. Theft of Property, at Red Corral Mini Mart on Highway 88, Pioneer; A white male in a dark blue baseball cap and a blue sweatshirt took one can of propane gas.

1:28 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at Far Horizons 49er RV Resort on Highway 49, Plymouth; A male subject was sleeping in a vehicle with a woman who appeared to be using drug needles.

3:12 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Save Mart on Highway 88, Martell; Two white males with brown shoulder-length hair on skateboards came into the business and spilt water all over the floor. When they were asked to leave, they came back and urinated all over the business bathroom floor and wall.

5:32 p.m. Burglary, on Lake Drive, Pioneer; Caller states that someone has broken into the residence, as the door frame is damaged.

6:56 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at Walmart in Wicklow Way, Martell; Caller states that a disgruntled employee is parked by the garden and the caller is concerned.

7:45 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, on Old Sacramento Road, Plymouth; Caller state that a gold Honda Civic was sitting on the side of the road with a male driver and a female passenger. The female walked up to the caller’s house and was attempting to look into the windows.

9:36 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Caller states that a tall, skinny Hispanic male in his 30’s was following customers to their cars and making them feel uncomfortable.

Friday, August 2

3:57 a.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, on Reservation Road, Jackson Valley; Caller states that a woman in a dark sedan was honking her horn, yelling incoherently and refusing to leave.

11:06 a.m. Welfare Check, on Sutter Volcano Road; An elderly, white female with long, gray hair wearing bright clothing was walking on the side of the roadway and seemed discombobulated.

12:01 p.m. Vandalism, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; Caller advised that their Subaru Crosstrek has two deep scratches on left front bumper from a shopping cart.

12:41 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Dollar General on Ridge Road, Pine Grove; A white male and white female are arguing in front of the store in the parking lot.

2:39 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, in Pioneer; Caller states there is an ongoing issue of a small, red Ford pick-up driven by a white male with gray hair who drives down to the end of the road very slowly and looks at the caller’s property at least once a week.

5:04 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, in Pioneer; Caller states that a female subject came into the ER today with a sore wrist due to an assault from her brother. Resulted in a felony arrest.

9:59 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, on Sierra Court, Pioneer; Caller states that he saw two subjects in a truck back slowly into the driveway and then got out and started walking around with flashlights.

10:06 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Chaparral Trail, River Pines; Caller states that their daughter saw a subject in the window who possibly had a mask on. Caller does not see anyone outside, but is too afraid to go check.

Saturday, August 3

1:34 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort on New York Ranch Road, Jackson; Caller states that a red Honda Civic parked in the valet area has a sub-compact automatic glock pistol on the floor of the vehicle. Resulted in a felony arrest.

3:52 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Salt Springs Road, Pioneer; Caller states that his neighbor came to the caller’s door and said that three subjects were trying to break into his property and told the caller to call the sheriff.

8:24 a.m. Citizen Assist, on Highway 88, Pioneer; The caller was in her residence naked and found her neighbor with dementia sitting in her bedroom. Caller wants to know what she can do about the situation.

10:41 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, at Jamba Juice on Industry Boulevard, Martell; The caller’s vehicle window was shattered and her purse was gone.

2:31 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Sierra Court, Pioneer; The caller’s ex-girlfriend slammed the caller’s girlfriend’s hand in the front door and also kicked and dented the caller’s truck.

3:43 p.m. Burglary, at Interfaith Food Bank on Airport Road, Martell; The outer storage building was found with the door pried open

9:05 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at Gallagher’s Bar on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller states that a male subject has been sitting in a black truck for the past hour and has not gone into the bar. Caller is nervous to close the bar and leave.

Sunday, August 4

1:59 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Lake Pardee on Stony Creek Road, Jackson Valley; Caller states that a group of 12 people are being very loud and disruptive.

8:46 a.m. Vandalism, at Lake Amador on Lake Amador Drive, Jackson Valley; Caller states that campers ran into a fence on the property and are still at their site and destroying the site with garbage.

9:56 a.m. Suspicious Person, at Pine Grove Park on Highway 88, Pine Grove; Caller states that a 50-year-old white male is living in the park.

11:12 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Emily Way, Sutter Creek; The caller lives next to a vacation rental and subjects staying there played loud rap music all night and a party bus woke the caller up last night to ask for help.

11:52 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Dollar General on Ridge Road, Pine Grove; A white male in his 50’s is yelling at customers.

5:28 p.m. Suspicious Person, on Pioneer Drive, Jackson; Caller advised that there is a woman sitting on the front lawn of her house with a bag of clothing that belongs to the caller. Caller said she does not know who the woman is.

7:55 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Valley View Court, Pine Grove; Subjects are playing loud music and riding dirt bikes and quads up and down the street.

8:21 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Caller states that five males and one female are hanging out in the parking lot who are associated with the spray.

8:54 p.m. Theft of Property, at Vaught’s Beach on Electra Road, Jackson; Caller advised that his phone and credit card were stolen at the river and used at Safeway ten minutes ago.
