The following is a partial listing of calls received by Amador County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers on the dates and times indicated. Calaveras call logs are published Tuesdays, and Amador call logs are published on Fridays. 

Wednesday, August 28

1:29 a.m. Suspicious Vehicle, at Pioneer Creek Road and Schaefer Ranch, Pioneer; Reporting party stated an older diesel truck driving

slowly and spotlighting houses on Pioneer Creek Road.

11:52 a.m. Be on the Lookout, at Highway 16 and Latrobe Road; Reporting party stated a dark green Ford Ranger was swerving all over the roadway and speeding.

12:29 p.m. Out with Pedestrian, at Walgreens and Highway 49, Sutter Creek; Misdemeanor arrest.

2:58 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Lakeview Drive, Jackson; Reporting party stated their ex-boyfriend took items that didn’t belong to him.

6:20 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Reporting party stated a male with no shirt, black pants had possibly been drinking, was yelling at people, digging through garbage and was taking a shopping cart.

6:51 p.m. Be on the Lookout, at Highway 49 and Ridge Road, Sutter Creek; Reporting party stated a black SUV was swerving all over the roadway.

6:52 p.m. Indiscriminate Shooting, on Bonanza Road, Pioneer; Reporting party stated they heard possibly six gunshots, was concerned and wanted contact.

7:56 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Male with black jacket and black pants was yelling at customers while sitting at a table in front of the store. He had a cart full of trash.

9:31 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Gold Oaks MHP on Kennedy Flat Road, Martell; Reporting party stated they left home for three hours and came back to an open front door with the lights on inside. A friend checked the house and didn’t find anyone inside.

Thursday, August 29

9:06 a.m. Suspicious Person, at Java Drive on Highway 49, Martell; Reporting party stated a male was sleeping between Galli Insurance and Java Drive. They wanted a deputy to ask him to leave.

9:07 a.m. Be on the Lookout, at Highway 16 and Highway 49; A small green Toyota truck was all over the roadway, speeding, crossing the double yellow lines.

9:12 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Lambert Drive, Willow Creek; People were on reporting party’s property taking pictures. Reporting party stated the people were part of the homeowners association.

10:33 a.m. Forgery, on West Tanyard Hill, Pine Grove; Reporting party stated two new bank accounts had been opened in her name at Bank of America.

10:52 a.m. Violation of Court Order, on Court Street, Jackson; Repeated attempts to contact their son, who is protected through use of law enforcement through third party.

12:15 p.m. Animal Call, on Camanche Parkway, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated his neighbor’s dog ran up to him and attempted to attack. They prevented the dog from biting them by using their walking stick.

12:41 p.m. Any Civil Problem, on Ridge Road, Pine Grove; Reporting party stated roommate is demanding rent despite having already paid and is now locking them out of the house.

1:52 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Starbucks on Old Mill Lane, Martell; Reporting party thinks they are being stalked by an unknown couple and believes they took a photo of him. He has seen the couple at Sutter Amador, as well.

2:04 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Lake Amador Drive, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated the water treatment computer monitoring system was hacked into and would like to file a police report.

2:31 p.m. Any Civil Problem, on Shake Ridge Road, Volcano; Reporting party’s girlfriend used his name to refinance a property they own jointly without his permission.

4:57 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Highway 88 and Eagle Way; Reporting party stated they were hanging a sign for a yard sale and found unknown bones with what looked like saw marks.

5:47 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Staples on Industry Boulevard, Martell; A male with black hair, Harley Davidson jacket and black shorts was having issues with a bus driver.

6:47 p.m. Theft of Property, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; Reporting party stated a male pushed a cart full of diapers outside and left on Highway 88 in a black Camaro.

7:10 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, Ione; Reporting party stated their upstairs jacuzzi lock was broken, didn’t know if the jacuzzi was theirs or not, began rambling and not making sense. The reporting party went on to state they wanted to report someone asking for sexual favors on the Fourth of July.

Friday, August 30

12:43 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Beaver Road, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated their roommate had a gun, then hung up.

1:36 a.m. Suspicious Person, on Highway 88, Jackson; Reporting party stated four juveniles were drinking alcohol and running around houses in the area with flashlights.

11:17 a.m. Welfare Check, on Suncatcher Lane, Pioneer; Son told reporting party that he was going to go quit his job after his parents took away privileges due to poor behavior.

12:19 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Pine Grove Market on Highway 88, Pine Grove; Reporting party stated a male keeps leaving his vehicle on the property and stays in the forest. They have told the male to leave.

1:12 p.m. Vandalism, at Ridge Road and Ridge Court, Pine Grove; Someone attempted to break into multiple mailboxes at the intersection. Reporting party stated it looked like someone tried to pry them open.

1:49 p.m. Be on the Lookout, at Highway 88/Alpine County line; Failure to Yield, A white Lexus IS400 with two people inside fled and threw a shotgun out of the window during the pursuit. The Lexus could be headed to Amador County.

3:34 p.m. Bench Warrant, at Amador County Jail, Jackson; Misdemeanor arrest.

4:22 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Highway 88, Pioneer; Reporting party stated there were three people inside a vacant property and there was trash everywhere.

4:27 p.m. Be on the Lookout, at Highway 88/Walmart, Martell; Reporting party stated there was a tan trailer running people off the road.

9:10 p.m. Welfare Check, on Lakeview Drive, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated a male was stumbling into the roadway and had possibly been drinking.

Saturday, August 31

9:53 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Park Circle, Jackson Valley; Reporting party’s sister won’t get out of their room and the sister was throwing their belongings at them.

11:53 a.m. Welfare Check, Main Street, Plymouth City; Reporting party stated their sister was having a mental breakdown.

1:33 p.m. Burglary, Buckhorn Ridge Road, Pioneer; Reporting party was in the process of evicting a male. The male had entered the garage through a window and used some of the reporting party’s tools.

6:36 p.m. Indiscriminate Shooting, on Vista Lane, Pioneer; Reporting party stated shots were fired for about an hour, possibly in the canyon behind their house.

9:45 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Highway 49, Drytown; Reporting party stated they came home and found husband’s aunt on the floor naked and talking gibberish.

11:29 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Camanche Parkway, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated a bald, shirtless male was pushing multiple women.

11:36 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, Main Street, Plymouth City; Reporting party stated a female pushed their cousin against a wall and put her hands around their cousin’s throat. She proceeded to tell their cousin to burn because the queen was trying to eat the reporting party.

Sunday, September 1

10:23 a.m. Suspicious Person, at El Torero Mexican Dining, Martell; Reporting party stated there was a male stealing trash out of the dumpster and smoking a cigarette.

12:56 p.m. Illegal Dumping, at Fiddletown Road and Shake Ridge Road, Fiddletown; Reporting party stated someone dumped a couch, garbage bags and mail on the side of the road a month ago and they were still there.

1:17 p.m. Indiscriminate Shooting, at Lake Pardee on Stoney Creek Road, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated they heard a gunshot, maybe a shotgun, in the RV area.

1:35 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Shake Ridge Road, Sutter Creek; Reporting party stated their husband took their jewelry out of the safe, wouldn’t give it back, then took guns out of the safe and pointed one at her.

8:03 p.m. Indiscriminate Shooting, at Upper Previtali Road, Jackson; Reporting party stated they heard about four gunshots in the last five minutes.

9:48 p.m. Welfare Check, Pine Grove; Reporting party stated they received a text from their daughter that their mother had been drinking and yelling at them via a phone they had secretly provided their daughter. Reporting party was restrained from contact with the mother and all children.

Monday, September 2

5:11 a.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at Baker Lane and Manzanita Road, Sutter Creek; Reporting party stated a male parked a motorcycle on the dirt cut off and walked up to houses. Reporting party believed they were involved in drug activity.

10:30 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, U-Haul on Highway 49, Martell; Reporting party stated that one of the u-hauls appeared to have gas syphoned out of it. 

1:28 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Gayla Drive, Pine Grove; Reporting party stated their boyfriend was yelling at them. Reporting party locked themselves in the bathroom.

3:19 p.m. Welfare Check, on Buena Vista Road, Jackson Valley; A male was jumping off the bridge.

3:54 p.m. Vandalism, Shake Ridge Road, Volcano; Reporting party stated their renter spray painted and punched holes in the wall and tore screens out.

5:04 p.m. Suspicious Person and Vehicle, at Irishtown Road and Clinton Road; A grey Kia SUV has been parked around the area for about a month.

5:57 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Jackson Valley Road, Jackson Valley; Reporting party stated two males took items from their yard sale after the reporting party refused a $5 offer for the items.

6:08 p.m. Theft of Property, on Highway 124, Ione; Reporting party stated the control board for their automatic gate and an $80 Amazon package was stolen on August 29.

7:12 p.m. Suspicious Person, Harvest Court, Plymouth City; Reporting party stated a male was walking up and down the street screaming and acting strange.

10:27 p.m. Grand Theft, at Jackson Rancheria Resort and Casino, Jackson; Reporting party stated he turned his back on their machine to talk to a friend and when he looked back, his ticket for $1,158 was missing.
