The Amador County Tax Collector will hold a public auction sale of tax-defaulted property beginning Monday, March 15, 2021, at 1 p.m. (PST) and ending Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at 2 p.m. (PST). The sale will be conducted online at www.bid4assets.com as a public auction to the highest bidder for cash in lawful money of the United States for at least the established minimum bid. Only bids submitted via the internet will be accepted. Pre-registration is required.
Information regarding deposit and settlement instructions, key bidding information, County Terms of Sale and a complete list of sale parcels can be found at www.bid4assets.com.
Parcels become subject to sale by the Tax Collector at the end of 5 years from the date of default. The primary purposes of the public auction are to: (1) collect the unpaid delinquent property taxes that are owed to the County; and, (2) return the property to tax-paying status.
Elizabeth A. Nelson, Amador County Tax Collector, would like to remind interested parties that these parcels must be withdrawn from the sale in the event that the tax amounts due are paid by 5 p.m., Friday, March 12, 2021. Parcels may also be withdrawn in the event certain conditions exist that affect the sale parcels.
