The following is a partial listing of calls received by Amador County Sheriff’s Office dispatchers on the dates and times indicated.

Friday, March 6 

6:22 a.m. Annoying Phone Calls, on Zumi Court, Jackson Valley; Caller received a call from an unknown male who sounded Hispanic who mentioned an unknown person to the caller and said they were dead and “you are next.”  

10:16 a.m. Vandalism, on Quiver Drive, Ione; Caller received a call from her co-worker this morning saying her car had been vandalized. Caller advised her car was keyed and potatoes were stuffed into the exhaust.

12:56 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Gold Creek Trail, Volcano; A male subject is threatening the caller with a BB gun and is intoxicated. Resulted in a felony arrest.

9 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Highway 88, Pine Grove; Caller had an argument with a neighbor regarding the removal of a vehicle and the caller advised that the subject tried coming after her husband with a mallet.

10:14 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at St. Katharine Drexel Catholic Center on Prospect Drive, Martell; Caller states that a group of juveniles were harassing his church group and yelling at them to “go back to Mexico.”

Saturday, March 7 

10:20 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on New York Ranch Road at China Graveyard, Jackson; A male subject in a beanie and camo pants was digging in the dirt on the side of the road with a machete.

2:26 p.m. Theft of Property, at Ray’s Pizza on Highway 88, Pioneer; Two males took soda out of the storage shed. Per caller, approximately $25 in product was taken.

6 p.m. Welfare Check, at Lake Amador on Lake Amador Drive, Jackson Valley; Caller states that a white male with a gray beard was falling asleep in their café, mumbling to himself and making weird statements about voices in his head.

11:10 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on String Bean Alley, Amador City; Caller states he was parked when a large lifted truck drove past and threw cans at the caller’s vehicle. Caller states the vehicle came back and he got into a verbal altercation with the subjects in the truck. Caller advised that he spat at the truck and one of the subjects pointed a handgun at the caller and fired two rounds into the caller’s vehicle. Resulted in a felony arrest.

Sunday, March 8 

10:12 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Jackson Rancheria Casino Resort on New York Ranch Road, Jackson; A female punched a male in the hallway at the hotel and the male then pushed her into the room and left.

4:24 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Two white female subjects, one with dreadlocks, are both smoking drugs and one of them is holding a sign that says “smile.”

5:54 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Dollar Tree, on Highway 88, Martell; A white male in his 30’s with a hat and a beard looked intoxicated and almost backed into a barrier.

Monday, March 9 

2:08 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Forrest Point Mobile Home Park on Highway 88, Pine Grove; Caller advised there is a homeless camp with six tents and the subjects are accessing the water for the mobile home park.

8:10 p.m. Welfare Check, on Jackson Valley Road, Jackson Valley; Caller states her son is throwing things around the residence and states he is possibly on drugs and had a machete in his bedroom.

11:37 p.m. Welfare Check, at ARCO AMPM on Highway 49, Martell; A white female is passed out in a black Honda in the parking lot. Caller knocked on the window and did not get a response from her.

Tuesday, March 10 

7:35 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Dickey’s on Industry Boulevard, Martell; An older white male with white hair was trying to take gas out of a Dickey’s van.

12:34 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, at Buena Vista Store on Buena Vista Road, Jackson Valley; Caller states that their ex-boyfriend punched the caller in the mouth and then pushed the caller into the vehicle.

6:30 p.m. Be on the Lookout, at Amador Station on Inspiration Drive, Pioneer; Caller spoke with a white male in his late 20’s with short hair and a wrist tattoo who asked the caller about buying plates, which implied that his vehicle was stolen. 

10:59 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Pioneer Inn & Suites on Highway 88, Pioneer; A male subject is yelling out of his vehicle that he wants more beer and that they are giving bad service.

Wednesday, March 11 

11:34 a.m. Welfare Check, at Pine Grove Hardware on Highway 88, Pine Grove; A male subject came into the business and said he was dying and wanted to give the caller his dog.

2:11 p.m. Welfare Check, at Buckhorn Mobile Home Park on Highway 88, Pioneer; An older female adult was walking around the mobile home park talking very loudly to herself and wandering about the area.

4:25 p.m. Theft of Property, at AT&T on Industry Boulevard, Martell; A phone worth $800 was stolen from the store.

7:09 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Buckhorn Mobile Home Park on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller states a female carrying bags is outside screaming at an empty house for sale.

Thursday, March 12 

9:09 a.m. Suspicious Person, on Highway 88 at Mission Boulevard, Jackson; A female subject is jumping out in the roadway when cars are passing by.

9:55 a.m. Welfare Check, at Well Space Health on Prospect Drive, Martell; A baby is in a locked vehicle with the windows up.

11:55 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, in Pine Grove; Last week, the caller’s daughter found very violent pictures in her step brother’s room, along with channel locks, wires and gloves. Caller does not feel like his dad is taking it seriously.

2:29 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Safeway on Industry Boulevard, Martell; Subjects in front of the store are playing a piano with a sign asking for money.

8:15 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, at Sunflower Professional Cleaning on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller, a passerby, saw a male slapping a woman in the parking lot.

9:18 p.m. Welfare Check, at Pioneer Post Office on Highway 88, Pioneer; Caller advised that a white female with short dark brown hair wearing only a hoodie has been sitting in the parking lot by herself.

Friday, March 13 

12:05 p.m. Theft of Property, on Highway 88, Jackson; $10,000 dollars on a Home Depot card was fraudulently charged to the caller.

12:17 p.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Highway 49, Sutter Creek; A female subject showed up to the location and was threatening the caller. Two male subjects left on foot. Resulted in a misdemeanor arrest.

1:23 p.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Roadrunner Drive, Jackson Valley; Caller is having ongoing issues of her neighbors coming onto her property at night, throwing tennis balls at her residence and putting nails in her tires.

3:38 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; An Indian male in his 40s in a red shirt asked the caller if he could fix a dent in her vehicle for money. The caller declined his services and later saw him working on someone else’s vehicle. Caller is worried the subject is taking advantage of people. 

Saturday, March 14 

2:46 a.m. Suspicious Circumstances, on Highway 49 and Main Street, Plymouth; A male subject came into the Emergency Room stating that he fell on a beer bottle, but it appears that there are possibly two stab wounds, one on his side and the other on his chin. 

8:27 a.m. Disturbing the Peace, on Rainbow Mine Road, Pine Grove; A subject slammed the caller down to the ground and tried smothering and choking her with her 5-year-old in the residence. Resulted in a felony arrest.

Sunday, March 15 

12:45 a.m. Theft of Property, at AMPM on Highway 49, Martell; An employee advised that a younger white female wearing a gray hoodie came into the store and stole beer. She got into a vehicle that took off, and while the vehicle was in motion, an additional white female with blonde hair and a blue hoodie fell out of the vehicle. She is currently sitting at the gas station with the caller.

2:30 p.m. Suspicious Person, at Walmart on Wicklow Way, Martell; Caller states that a white male in his 70s with glasses and a bald head has approached her 2-year-old daughter, giving her a piece of paper with bible verses and making inappropriate comments. Caller states this is the fourth time this has occurred.
