Anthony Blymyer, formerly of San Andreas and St George, Utah, was sentenced to 350 years to life in prison in Calaveras Superior Court on July 15 following his conviction on 14 counts of child rape.

Blymyer was arrested at in Utah in October of 2016 and extradited back to Calaveras County, where he had lived and the crimes were committed until 2015. Blymer was charged with 14 counts in which he either penetrated, rubbed or orally molested two underage females from 2012 to 2014. The charges also carried special felony enhancements for special circumstances, which the jury found applied.

Blymer was convicted in an eight day trial held in May. Judge Susan Harlan sentenced Blymer, who did not visibly react during the preceding to 14 terms of 25 years to life in state prison, with the sentences to be served consecutively. In addition Blymer must register as a sex offender and pay some $5,000 in fines.
