Betty Madden passed away September 12,2019. She was 85.

Betty was born on December 28, 1933 in North Kenova, OH to Clariville and Chloe Waugh. She was preceded in death by brothers Leon and Vernon Waugh, and sister, Virginia Lee Phillips. She was raised on a farm in Southern Ohio. She was a graduate of South Point High School and was a member of the school's Marching Band and was a lead singer in the Glee Club. After High School she attended, and graduated from Business School in Huntington, WVa.

Betty leaves behind her husband of 64 years, Mike Madden, sons Terence and Michael, daughter—in-law, Sandy (Michael), grandchildren Nicole Hartman (Brett), Marissa and Patrick Madden, great-grand Daughter Makenna Hartman; nieces Carol J. Adams of Syracuse, OH and Karen L. Goble of Louisville, KY

Betty and Mike spent their working years in Contra Costa County, moving to Pioneer in 1998. They traveled extensively throughout the Western and Southwestern States and Western Provinces of Canada in their 5th Wheel and Motor Home, including a three month trip to Alaska.

On Saturday, October 12th, at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 26750 Tiger Creek Road, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM, followed by a lunch and Reception in Haran Hall, next to the Church.
