Michele Ann Tilden Rykowski

Born April 3 1948 To Richard and Dolly Tilden. Michele was raised in Washington state by Richard and Millaine Tilden until she was in her teens. Michele then ventured back to the California Bay Area and graduated from Mt. Eden High School in Hayward CA in 1966.

Soon after High School Michele became married to first Husband Steven Rykowski. They began their marriage with an adventurous life style full of road trips and camping but after a few years they decided to start a family. In 1971 they gave birth to their son Steven and later came Daughter Lauren in 1973.

Michele moved to Amador County in 1993 when she bought a home and began her retirement with second husband Timo Campos. They were both very actively involved with organizations in the community such as being a supportive Widder with the ECV Clampers and the Jackson Elks Lodge. Michele loved to dance, play cards, go camping, road tripping and she loved to laugh and had a very contagious smile.  Michele loved being a part of community functions like the local parades, floats and any kind of community fundraising especially if it had to do with our local kids.
Everyone that knew Michele Knew that they could always count on a summer filled with hot days by her pool with BBQ's, laughter and libations. Michele loved to entertain family and friends and she had a way of making everyone around her feel special.
