Michelle Throssel passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021 in Jackson, CA. at the age of 49 years. She was born April 1, 1971 in Sacramento, CA to her parents, Olan and Cathy (Hamilton) Levin.
Michelle grew up in Sacramento, CA and graduated from McClatchey Highschool in 1990. After graduation she went to work at the YMCA Childcare Center. Through a “match maker” friend, Debbie, Michelle met Charlie, Debbie’s cousin. While attending a wedding Michelle nonchalantly held Charlie’s hand and they were married May of 1993.
Charlie and Michelle began their family in Millbrae, CA, they had their first child, Maddi in October of 1993. They attended Western Hill Church where Michelle was baptized and began serving in the nursery, leading Awana's, youth group and attending bible studies.
In 1994 they moved to Hayward; there they purchased their first home. That following year, Sarah was born and Noah 3 years later. The Throssel’s packed up their gang once more and escaped the city to the mountains of Pioneer, CA. They started attending Grace Fellowship Church in Jackson, CA. Elizabeth was born June of 2003, she spent 6 weeks in the hospital before being lost to a dypermatic hernia. Charlie and Michelle were covered in love and support from their church family during a devasting time of loss.
Michelle remained faithful as she involved herself in women's ministry, leadership at the Redwood Christian Park and bible studies all while being a mom to her 3 kids. She enjoyed coordinating and attending women's retreats and leading arts and crafts. Michelle loved her life in Pioneer, raising her petting zoo of goats, chickens, rabbits’, dogs, and cats. Her favorite place was spending time at the beach and attending Sheet Metal Conventions with Charlie in Hawaii and San Diego.
Michelle was a light and a joy. She loved fiercely and lived well. She made everyone around her a better person because of the kindness in her soul and the love she had for Jesus.
