Each year the Amador Vintners Association invites residents of Nevada to explore Amador County in celebration of Nevada Day, when Nevada joined the Union in 1864. Amador Council of Tourism hopes to expand this invitation throughout Amador County to include businesses, restaurants, galleries and shops to add to wineries offerings to Nevadans. ACT invites all businesses in Amador County to participate. If any business would like to add their offering to the promotion of Nevada Day, they can request a complimentary link at firstname.lastname@example.org. Promotions by supporting businesses will be listed online and marketed through targeted email blasts, radio, social and digital media via VisitAmador and AmadorWine.
In the spirit of continuing Amador County’s revival and awareness in the absence of local events, Nevada Day hopes to extend an invitation to our Nevada neighbors to add to their winery experiences and explore more of the county’s historical towns of Amador City, Fiddletown, Ione, Jackson, Pioneer, Pine Grove, Plymouth, Sutter Creek and Volcano. Amador wineries welcome our friends from the Silver State every year providing discounts and special offers, encouraging guests to enjoy all the amenities Amador County has to offer. This year ACT hopes to expand the offers throughout Amador and encourage a Nevada Day weekend holiday through November 1st.
