Navy Ship Fire

Ione VFW Post 8254 collected and donated a total of $850 to the efforts of the USS BONHOMME RICHARD. Their sister post (VFW Post 1512 in Lemon Grove) became the official coordinating post for donations for firefighters and displaced Veterans onboard the ship. Donations of cash are accepted and will be given to the Ships Command Master Chief or the Navy Relief Fund that is strictly designated for BONHOMME RICHARD sailors. Those who wish to help, can mail cash/checks to: Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 1512, 6873 Federal Boulevard, Lemon Grove, CA  91945. Please ensure any donations clearly state that they are for the USS BONHOMME RICHARD.
