ledger travel

The Ledger Dispatch traveled with the Jackson SIR Branch #96 on a tour of Michigan that included two days in Dearborn where they toured the Ford Motor Company F-1 Ford Pickup assembly line, the Ford Museum and Greenfield Village. From there, the group travel up to Mackinac Island and spent two days staying at the world famous Grand Hotel where this picture was taken. From there, they visited Frankenmuth, a city founded by German Lutheran Missionaries in 1840 and there also visited the Bronner’s Christmas store, the worlds largest Christmas store that is the size of 1 1/2 football fields. From there, the group traveled to Ontario, Canada and ended their tour spending two days at the Niagara Falls.
