WHAT: Vitalant (formerly known as BloodSource) will host a Veterans Community blood drive to meet the community’s need for blood and blood products. All donors must wear a mask or face covering. A COVID-19 antibody test is performed on all donations. The drive is sponsored by the VFW 8254, DAV 118 and the American Legion 108.
To ensure social distancing requirements donors are encouraged to make an appointment by calling Vitalant at 866-822-5663 or going to donors.vitalant.org and choose Advanced Search then Blood Drive Code and use blood drive code SMFM156. Walk-ins will be accommodated if space permits.
WHEN: Monday, April 5 from 10:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
WHERE: American Legion Hall, 11041 American Legion Drive, Sutter Creek (Corner of Airport and Highway 49)

ELIGIBILITY: Whole blood donors must be at least 16 years old (16 year old’s must have a signed Vitalant parental consent form available online at Vitalant.org), weigh a minimum of 110 pounds, be in good general health and bring a photo I.D.
