FRUIT

Sierra Madre Garden Club’s February program was quite different, and so entertaining. Member Frank Tortorich demonstrated simple (for him) ideas for cutting up fruit and vegetables for use in decorating a table or plate. Members and guests were invited to bring a small cutting board, a small paring knife, radishes and an apple to the meeting.

FRUIT

There were a few brave souls who sliced carrot garnishes, cut radish mice and made apple birds. He ended his program by offering everyone to join in a hands-on decorating opportunity – making fruit tailfeathers for a watermelon peacock.
