In Memory: Russell W. Knight

Russell W. Knight of Jackson, CA passed away on January 23, 2023. He was predeceased by his wife Linda Knight; his father Ronald Knight; and his brother Jack Knight. He leaves behind his mother Virginia Gibson; his sisters Lorinda Schram and Rhonda Watterson; and his nephews and nieces.

Russ graduated from community college with a degree in business. He was very proud of his business, “Knight Rides Motorcycles,” that he started in Burlingame and relocated to Jackson. He considered the friends that he made in the biker community to be his second family. Russ loved building and working on motorcycles so much that there were times he wouldn’t charge a customer for fixing their bikes. He just enjoyed the challenge of finding the problem and fixing it. When Russ wasn’t working on motorcycles he enjoyed reading. He loved spending time with his dogs. He looked forward every year to visiting the local senior center at Christmas time with some of his friends. He had a wicked sense of humor and a laugh that we will all miss very much.

We will be celebrating the life of our son, our brother, our uncle and our friend on February 25, 2023 at the American Legion Hall at 11350 American Legion Drive in Jackson, California starting at 11 a.m.
