Set aside an hour on Saturday, May 6th to engage in a local drum circle and experience peace, harmony, rhythms and vibrations with other members of your community! This event is offered in the Amador Yoga studio, 218 Water Street in Jackson, on the the 1st Saturday of every month, from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m., and led enthusiastically by Kathy Engelmann, who has enjoyed music & rhythms since her childhood. She creates rhythm on just about anything, even pots, pans, and walls! She has actively participated in drum circles in both North and South America, and her love of rhythm continues to this day as she takes every opportunity she can to share her passion. For Kathy, “drumming brings this sense of peace & well-being, whether playing or just listening. It calms the body, relieves stress, and creates a deep feeling of relaxation. It brings you to connect with the Earth’s healing energies, plus it’s just fun to do— especially in a group with so much laughter and joy!” Donation based, cash only. Call Amador Yoga at 619-403-3465 for more information or to learn more about our studio offerings.
